About Me

I'm a final year PhD student in experimental particle physics at the University of Manchester. I am currently working on the ATLAS experiment at the LHC at CERN. My supervisor is Yvonne Peters.

My current research includes searching for tt̄H events at ATLAS in the H→bb̄ channel. In this analysis I have focussed on the analysis strategy and signal extraction; highlights include working on signal reconstruction using Boosted Decision Trees.

I did my undergratuate study at the University of Manchester with a year abroad spent at the Technische Universität München, where I focused on Kern-, Astro- und Teilchenphysik, graduating with an MPhys in Physics.
I also undertook a proseminar at the MPI für Physik in Munich on Inclusive Searches for Supersymmetry at the LHC.

  • ATLAS-CONF-2017-076 - Search for the Standard Model Higgs boson produced in association with top quarks and decaying into a bb pair with the ATLAS detector
