I am working with the Particle Physics Group at the University of Manchester on the ATLAS experiment based at CERN. My primary responsibility was to develop analysis software for the solenoid magnetic field mapper machine. The data from the field mapping campaign is also available. I have also developed a realistic model of the solenoid magnetic field. I am starting to work on the ATLAS FSI DAQ.

Outside of work, I curl with the Welsh Curling Association. I am also learning Cuban salsa dancing with the University of Manchester Staff Association and ballroom dancing with the Manchester Students' Dance Society. I am also playing squash and badminton with the Manchester HEP squash & badminton club, and soccer with the Manchester HEP soccer team. I cheer for Sale Sharks (rugby), Stade Toulousain (rugby), Northamptonshire County Cricket Club aka the Steelbacks (cricket), Liverpool FC (soccer), Vancouver Canucks (hockey), BC Lions (football) and Hiroshima Toyo Carps (baseball). Sadly, the Montreal Expos (baseball) and Vancouver Grizzlies (basketball) have moved to new cities.

You can view my photos here.

Last year, I played rugby for Broughton Park Football Club.

You can also read about my Oxford days.
