Out of office....
I have recently arrived in Vico Equense, Italy (near Naples) for The 3rd International Summer School on Grid Computing. So far I am very impressed - the place is beautiful, the hotel is great and the food/drink is amazing. I think I will be able to put up with 2 weeks of this without trying too hard!
I will be taking pictures aplenty and post them when I get back to Manchester.
For now, I guess everone I know should just sit tight and be extremely jealous.

Questionable guitar skills? You're really good! I was so impressed when I listened to the second one especially! I've been teaching myself guitar for about a year now, but I feel shamed by how good you are compared me to me...
By the way I dropped by to grab a copy of Revelations - thanks for the bandwidth! - how can you afford to let people download such a large file?
Don't know if you will actually look at this again but I just wanted to thank you for the praise. I do not consider myself to be a particularly good player especially compared to some artists I know. If you like guitar music I recommend Tommy Emmanuel. He is really awesome.
As for the file and its size - my university has HUGE bandwidth, so I let them take the load. I suppose I COULD get into trouble for this but it's not like the file is illegal to share.
I would use an html tag if I knew what they did!
Just popped by to say hello an tell you I just set up wireless internet on this laptop all by myself!
