Playing with myself....

Er... maybe I could have thought of a better title for this. Anyway, I have been enjoying my new guitar quite a lot lately and thought I should share it with the world. I have made a short MP3 of me playing two guitar parts of an Eric Clapton track, layered one on top of the other and put it here. Hence the title of this post - now all of you dirty minded people can hang your heads in shame.

I have played this with Marta a couple of times, which was really good fun. Sadly she is off to the US for part of her PhD work so I am left doing both parts. I will hopefully get her to do a longer (and probably better) version with me when she gets back. I make quite a few mistakes and my sound card is crap so there is a bit of a hiss all the way through. It is kind of enjoyable though - well, I think it is anyway.

Driving School

I haven't had much to add lately, but I thought I should post something. I have already promised Marta that I wouldn't post any pictures of her bum so I had to think of something else.

I am poor

I am poor, but I am happy. I bought a new gutar this weekend - a Martin 000CXE BLACK - which is why I'm poor but it's also the reason I'm happy. In celebration of this I have put some pictures of my guitars on my picture page. I was also round at Daniel and Sabrina's house showing off my new guitar (be jealous Dan) and relaxing. Sabrina, as usual, made twice as much food as we needed but it was all fantastic - THANK YOU! I have some pictures of that as well:

Jellyfish From Space

went to the "Garden of Delights" fesitval type thing in Platt Fields
Park on Friday. The idea was to go to see the fireworks but there
turned out to be some pretty interesting/weird stuff there as well.

By far the weirdest thing was freaky space jelly fish thing with
weird insect people (complete with hamster cages on their backs!)
attacking it.

Woo Hoo! (For real this time)

Okay, i really am finished now. Report is handed in, presentation done, interview (for assessment of report) done. So, I say again, WOO HOO!

I spent this weekend helping out with an IT room at a school - it was being rebuikt from scratch and now looks pretty good. There are some pictures of the progress of the room in my picture page along with some others:
